At the last moment, on the last day (today), I submitted to ‘Days Like This’ at The Scottish Book Trust. I wasn’t going to put anything in, then I read this post which inspired me to write about something that matters. So I did. Thanks Potdoll.

Aww Pots, crying is only allowed on this blog if it is followed by cake. No, we never did, but the Police did have it tested and it was over 100 years old!

Hurrah! I sort of wanted (weirdly) to keep it just to get it further examined in case it was REALLY old, but the Police destroyed it. They’re apparently supposed to do that unless specifically asked not to (which I didn’t know at the time).
